Intensive Nepali and Tibetan Language & Community Engaged Learning Program

ASTU 204E 001 (Nepali)

A two-week intensive introductory Nepali language course offered by UBC Himalaya Program. This is a community-engaged course that blends classroom instruction with experiential learning off-campus at Nepali community sites in the Lower Mainland. Actual class times may vary to accommodate off-site field trips. The instructor of this unique program is Mr. Binod Shrestha.

ASTU 204F 001 (Tibetan)

A two-week intensive introductory Tibetan language course offered by UBC Himalaya Program. This is a community-engaged course that blends classroom instruction with experiential learning off-campus at Tibetan community sites in the Lower Mainland. Actual class times may vary to accommodate off-site field trips. The instructor of this unique program is Mr. Sonam Chusang.


Registration

The summer 2018 Nepali and Tibetan classes will be held from 30 April - 11 May 2018.

Course fees are determined by UBC  in line with standard per-credit course fees for the Faculty of Arts, and can be paid upon registration.
