Deepak Rauniyar, the director of the Nepali film White Sun (Seto Surya) visited Vancouver in mid-November to screen White Sun at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF), co-presented by the Himalaya Program and the Nepal Cultural Society of British Columbia (NCSBC). The screening was followed by a Q&A with Mr. Rauniyar and Dr. Mark Turin, a professor in the UBC Department of Anthropology.
